Air Canada Vacations Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Air Canada is the flag carrier and the largest airline of Canada by fleet size and passengers carried. The airline, founded in 1937, provides scheduled and charter air transport for passengers and cargo to 207 destinations worldwide. It is a founding member of the Star Alliance. Air Canada's corporate headquarters are in Montreal, Quebec, while its largest hub is at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The airline's regional service is Air Canada Express.
A sad customer who is always one board at least once in every month for one year shared her grievances about the airline with the world, she wrote" I do not recommend this airline if you are looking for comfort. Although the flight attendants were nice, it didn’t make up for the way they squish you in like sardines. It goes to show the greediness of the airline. Cram more people into less room to make more money. Frustrating experience."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"SALARY! They like the profit employees bring in with hard work but when it comes to bonus or salary increase, employees get crumbs. NO ADVANCEMENT! They keep bringing in people from outside instead of promoting internally. You get stuck where you are. ONLY 2 WEEKS VACATION and if you want more it will come out of your paycheck WITH interest. Ironic considering they claim to be in the travel industry."

Only 2 weeks of vacation but you will never have the choice to take your days off when you want to. - A lot of micro-managing managers, not team-oriented at all - there's a lot of pointing fingers, passive aggressive exchanges - All the work is thrown at you with unrealistic expectations when no adequate training is given - Do not invest in their employees. They will listen to you but no action is done when giving feedback - a lot of politics - Outdated technology, which makes working there efficiently very difficult and painful (the website is ancient). Not investing in proper resources to meet the business objectives they set - Very high turnaround but at the same a lot of people have been there for decades so there's a big imbalance in work styles and mentalities - No room for growth - Avoid at all cost, you will waste your time there"

If you don't know how to please upper management or you do not have someone backing you then forget about advancement. Culture is a joke and place is ran by old fashioned leaders. For a company that's supposedly worth a billion dollars, they pay peanuts for call center agent posistions. Others have been there for ages and salary is a joke compared to other companies. They use their travel privilieges as a leverage to pay potential employees low salaries. Medical and Dental benefits are mediocre."

Salary is so low compared to anywhere else (in the same category), the amount of work and stress they put you through vs salary and bonus is pure slavery. But they brainwash you to think that its normal and that the benefits they give you make up for it. But they don’t"

Les superviseurs n'ont même pas le temps de coacher et d'évaluer les employés convenablement. Bref, si vous voulez travailler pour cette entreprise, SVP appliquez pour un autre département. Les RH ne font rien pour améliorer la situation. I was not interested in getting involved, and thus, I parted ways. If you are a smart person with some self respect, you will not demean yourself to work for a corporation like this. It may seem nice to get a free trip once a year (to an awful hotel, may I add), but I would rather get paid more anywhere else than receive a free vacation....great deals on vacationstoo many office politics and backstabbing - no one is safe here..."
